"You may think that this stranger really did symphasize with the girl." The old man interjected in a soft genteel voice, sliding in his seat to face me. He smiled bitterly, baring his worn teeth toothily. Suddenly and without warning, I was flipped over, my back to him and my arms pinned in a hard grip behind my back. I couldn't help but grunt as my face was smooshed against the cold porcelain.
He leaned down close to me, his hot, stale breath tickling my neck and making me shiver. I could feel him peering down at me with those cool grey eyes, with what I was certain was a cruel maliciousness. I began breathing hard.
"... But it was the knife that did her in."
I screamed and gasped as he twisted my arm and shoved a long knife against my wrist. Tears welled in my eyes as he slowly pressed it down, dragging out my pain as he slowly slit it through my skin, one layer at a time. Even if I could, I was too terrified to escape from him, much less move. It was hard to concentrate as I could only register the heated pressure and sharp acute sting of the blade as it continued making its way deeper and deeper inside of me.
